Personality

Hollow is a young, kind tom cat. He is always open to making friends and considers all he clanmates to be important to him...Even those who get on his nerves. He easily becomes attached to friends and is very touchy feely, not completely understanding the concept of personal space.

However, he can develop a bit of a temper if anyone gets on his nerves and has a hard time holding himself back when he gets the urge to give someone a good clawing.

Life

Hollow as a kit:
Originally a rogue kitten found by a WindClan she-cat(Silverleopard), Hollow was a filthy furred, scrawny tom with a raspy voice. He was brought to WindClan where, after a less than welcoming encounter with Scorpionstrike, he got some food in his belly and began to regain his strength.

Hollow's voice never fully healed from the damage of dehydration and still has a slight raspy quality to it, making him often sound as though he is speaking is strained.

Hollow spent his days making friends with other kits such as Beekit, Sandkit, and Speckledkit. Although he is a little overly touchy feely and hyperactive, he found making friends to be quite easy.

As a kit, Hollow witnessed the Badger attack on WindClan and, although it shook him up, he seemed to get over the incident rather quickly for he was young and kits bounce back from tragedies much better than adults. This was also around the time he learned about StarClan...Although he finds the starry ancestors to be quite amazing, he also can't help but wonder If they truly do exist. The idea of dead felines in the stars just seems to be too farfetched for him to grasp.

Apart from a few ups and down, Hollow's life as a kit in WindClan was quite ordinary.

Hollow as an Apprentice:

Hollowpaw's apprentice ceremony was like any other, receiving Ratwhisker as a mentor. the young tom looked up to the warrior and was excited to be trained by him, unfortunately he only got in a few sessions before Ratwhisker became unavailable and was later replaced by Vixentail, a she-cat who Hollowpaw is prone to be nervous around since she isn't exactly the peppy type.

He participated in as many group training lessons as he could, was always eager to join patrols with his clanmates, and made plenty of friends with both warriors and other Apprentices alike. His relationship with Scorpionstrike didn't not improve and it wouldn't be much of an exaggeration to even say it worsened.

Accidentally joining a patrol, Hollowpaw had been too eager to realize that leading it was the cranky Scorpionstrike who ended up making Hollowpaw stick by him the whole time. The young tom did well enough hunting (It being his favorite duty to the clan) but, accidentally of course, he forgot to bring back one of the catches to the patrol's rendezvous point and his mistake was met with a scolding from Scorpionstrike, even being called "Hollowbrain"

He ran back and retrieved the prey though with no harm done...Not including the harm to his pride.

At one point, dogs were in the WindClan territory and attacked a warrior. Hollowpaw joined the patrol to fight them off, even managing not to get that hurt at all which left him feeling pretty cocky for the next few days.

Soon after, he went to his first gathering. He enjoyed it but all the unfamiliar felines put him on edge so he just stuck close to Windypaw.

Later, WindClan came down with an illness contracted from the dogs. Hollowpaw caught it but it didn't take long for the medicine cats to find a cure and fix all the sickly warriors and apprentices.

As an apprentice, he began to mature more and his bubbly kit personality began to fade. Especially when he started taking more time to think.

With his mother grieving over her lost mate and him not seeing her much, himself not being clanborn, and being all around clumsy when it came to battle training. Well, it was safe to say that Hollowpaw's mood was deteriorating day by day. He developed more of a fiery temper when it came to defending himself and he strives to be as loyal and hard working as any other of his clanmates. He always listens gratefully to advice from everyone, always kind to those who treat him with kindess.

He always knew his gloomy feeling wouldn't last, figuring that it was just something brought along with adolescence, he decided it's nothing to linger on and simply pushed the feelings down.

As LeafBare approached, WindClan was met with the unpleasant reality that twolegs and dogs were coming dangerously close to the camp and Skystar decided that it was about time to evacuate for the time being. The clan temporarily left to head to the gorge where Rubyfeather, one of the first felines Hollowpaw met when he joined the clan, fell over into the water in a freak accident and lost her life. The young tom was left temporarily distraught by the loss, but with all that was happening he didn't dwell on it long and especially had to push it back when he was met with the stress of the clan moving to temporarily live with ThunderClan because of their predicament.

Most of the ThunderClanners were less than welcoming but a few managed some level of hospitality. Hollowpaw still couldn't get used to the cramped apprentice's den and trees looming uncomfortably overhead. However he and Vixentail decided to take advantage of the situation and went out for some battle training in the unfamiliar territory. The training proved to be quite fun and Hollowpaw was delighted when he managed to bring out a more playful side of her, even gossiping a bit about WindClan's twitchy medicine cat, Paleblossom. The occasional argument broke out with the two clans living so close together and Hollowpaw had to resist the urge to give a scratch or two to the ThunderClan apprentices who insulted his beloved WindClan.

Much to Hollowpaw's delight, it became safe to venture back home again and even though prey was running slow he couldn't wait to have a rabbit after so long and be under the stars rather the trees once again. Not long after ShadowClan apprentices crossed the border to hunt and a border skirmish broke out. Hollowpaw wasn't there but was more than happy to hear WindClan won.

As time passed, Hollowpaw trained more with his mentor and grew to the age of 12 moons, the age most felines become a warrior. On a wintery night in WindClan, Hollowpaw received his Warrior name from Skystar and was named Hollowsong.

Hollow as a Warrior:

Hollowsong flourished as a warrior, dedicating his time and loyalty to WindClan no matter the circumstances. Whether it be border skirmishes or all out wars, his are was devoted to his family and Clan. As time passed, his friendship with Beehum grew stronger and the two began to grow ever closer.
