Life

Cross as a kit:

Cross was raised within The Army, getting to know the soft inside beneath the harsh exterior of the group. His parents having abandoned him, he was taken care of by the many soldiers. Although most cats of The Army emphasized being strong and ruthless, the young tom could never manage. He stayed skittish and quiet for most of his moons and didn't make many friends.

Cross as a Rookie/Apprentice:

The time was given Tate as a mentor which shook his quiet world up. The tom was taught to fight and that the number one enemy of his makeshift family was the clans. Sure, he understood but he never felt a personal connection to the cause. So, he put his mind into the training but left his heart out of, trying to get by with the bare minimum. Soon, however, as The Army progressed in it's plots to take control, he found himself being hated as they moved within the territories. He'd help taken over, but he didn't want to be grouped together with his Army mates and their vicious desires.

However, he was and as time passed he adjusted. Settling down with the army in control was hard, for he missed the cozy quiet house they'd once lied in. It all changed when the clans rebelled though and he was, sadly, plunged into the bloodbath once again. Facing Shiverlingleaf, a warrior of WindClan, he took a harsh beating and was relieved when The Army was forced to surrender...But as they began to disband, he was left alone. That was when he noticed the WindClan medicine cat and asked for a place to stay, effectively becoming a clanner.

The training was difficult, after all the stubby chunky tom had joined a clan known for it's lean runners. Not to mention he was embarrassingly the oldest apprentice by far as nine moons with a lot of training still ahead of him. However, he pushed through the training and was glad to be apart of such a hard working, loving group of felines and earned his Warrior name, Crossfire.
